Doll Clothes Pattern #9. This "in the hoop" embroidery pattern includes designs and instructions to make an adorable pleated jumper or skirt and blouse. The jumper on the left was made with lavender corduroy (appliqué butterflies not included in pattern). You can also use a plaid skirt with navy gabardine as shown. Straps can be added to the skirt for a more casual look or use the same glitzy fabric for both blouse and skirt for a fancy party "dress". Because this is done in the hoop, you can use difficult fabrics and always achieve beautiful results. The blouse is fully lined and can even be reversible. All the hard work is done by your machine. The skirt is perfectly pleated and attached to the waistband in the hoop, even the hem is finished in the hoop. Very little hand or machine finishing required.
